The Eamon Foundation is comprised of individuals who have long-time exposure and experience associated with the many issues that relate to the health, safety and well-being of persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD).
The Foundation recognizes the inadequate funding to support the comprehensive needs for this vulnerable population, including those items that are not always readily seen by the public as warm and fuzzy success stories. It is the desire of the Foundation to identify and support those needs that afford persons with IDD the same opportunities as others.
The Foundation provides funding for numerous projects that help build a solid foundation for improving the quality of life for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Eamon Foundation believes that promoting independence, improving accessibility in the home, using technology to improve communication with friends and families and providing opportunities to support healthy living through innovative program design is essential to the health and well-being of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
